**Update: No More Joost Invites
A few weeks ago, I offered invites to Joost, the popular new television viewing program for your computer. The response has been nothing short of unbelievable, with over 80 requests so far. I’ve invited all of them, and I still have invites available. Just leave a comment on this post or the original.
My personal Joost experience since the first post has changed a bit. I still like the program, but I’ve had many problems with it loading correctly. When I want to launch it, I have to start it, wait for it to load, then when it inevitably becomes unresponsive the first time, Ctrl+Alt+Del it closed, then start it again. Then it normally works, but I have to start it twice like that each time. Once it’s running, it’s fine.
I’ve heard reports of Joost freezing computers and people not being able to run it at all, but I’ve yet to experience that. Of course, Joost is still in it’s Beta testing life-cycle, which means that bugs should be expected, and if you come across anything (even if you know it’s already been reported,) please submit your problem to the Joost team so they can get it right, as it obviously still needs some work.
