My posting frequency is very sporadic. Why? I have a problem. No, I don’t really have ADD, but it certainly seems like it sometimes.
In the “Your Drafts” section of WordPress, I have so many posts sitting up there waiting to completed I don’t even feel like counting them right now. Here is my method:
- Get an idea for a post
- Log on to WordPress and begin post
- Finish about 3 sentences of the post
- Get an idea for another post
- Click “Save”, then “Write Post”
- Begin new post
- GOTO 1
The loop does not stop. I don’t know if this is a problem with very many bloggers, but I’m positive I’m not the only one. In fact the only reason I’m finishing this post is because I promised myself I wouldn’t go to bed until I’m done, and I’m really tired.

Between (6) and (7), the following line seems most valuable :
Gosub Relax
[Relax]
N = Ran (1000)
For 1 to N
Dream
Next
Return
P.S. : For myself, I usually consider N as Ran (1000, 2000)!
Nice blog, and I still am wondering (while in the Dream loop) what ‘Egonitron’ ends up to …
I definitely have blog ADD. I write all my posts in a text program and I have a file filled with half-written posts. I try to jot down new ideas in an ideas file, but I’m not very good at keeping myself on track with it.

Glad to know I’m not alone
I can certainly relate, only my Blogging ADD is much less organized.
I have a text file on my work laptop, home computer a, home computer b, and a notepad in the car that are all title “Blog Posts”. (I also have one called “Domain names” but that’s another topic).
In those text files / pads I have scores of blog post ideas that haven’t made it to the blog yet.
I will say that I only have 2 posts in draft mode currently as I usually complete a post once I decide to start it.
