There’s nothing I hate more than trying to browse through 15,000 items, when only 15 are shown per page. Especially when each item is only a thumbnail. Most of us now have broadband internet connections. We can handle hundreds of thumbnails being shown on one page. The least you can do is offer a “Show all items” option. Some sites have that option, but way too many don’t.

For example, the “Search Results” image above is not fake, it’s from Epinions.com. Apparently, they actually expect us to browse through 51,828 pages, if we want to see all of the 777,419 items. And worst of all, they don’t let you view more than the default 15 per page.

Stop Pagination!
